A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! Non-profit, all proceeds go to the very dogs you are walking, who are also up for adoption. We'll meet friendly people on the way and let them know about the dogs. A nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. Watch the sun set from 1000 feet above LA, amazing view as we walk down Runyon Canyon... and then you can go explore Hollywood and West Hollywood, a short walk away for an evening coffee or dinner! Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. At the newly renovated Theatre 68 Arts Complex she will take you through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully with hand transfers, tongue transfers and of course, extinguishing the flame with your mouth. This is NOT an illusion! By the end of the session you'll be fire eating and body burning like a pro. Other things to note: Wear close-fitting clothes, sleeveless is ideal and either leggings or shorts. Flat shoes, no heels. Come explore some of the highlights of this 5,000 acre park just above Hollywood! We’ll hike about 2.5-3 miles (depending on the exact route) up to the Griffith Observatory & on to a unique view of the Hollywood sign. I’ll show you an historic nature garden, we’ll get views of Hollywood and downtown LA from the iconic Griffith Observatory (which is also a museum), we'll see some of the highlights of the observatory, & then we'll go to see unique views of the Hollywood Sign. The lighting changes throughout the day (evening hikes will see sunset, while hikes earlier in the day are brighter), but the views are always beautiful! I’ll share history and geography of the Park and LA as we go along. And, of course, there will be ample stops for unforgettable photos from the best vantage points, and I will be happy to take memorable photos of you and your friends/family. This is a moderate hike ideal for families & those with the desire for a short, easy way to see the highlights. This experience is great for groups to book. Be in condition to walk 2-3 miles going up & down hill. Arrive at meeting point 15 minutes early. A small backpack/rucksack is useful for the hike. Remember sun protection.
